How many times do I need to work with the OT?

The number of sessions you, your child and/ or teacher attend will vary depending on your concerns and whether you want weekly or fortnightly sessions. You may cease therapy at any stage.

What happens during a school visit?

The OT will work with the parent/s, teacher/s and the child to help in embedding supports in the school curriculum to assist the child to access, engage and participate in all areas of the learning environment.

Where is Sproutz based?

Sproutz is located at Coolnwynpin State School, 6 Telaska Court, Capalaba.

Will you visit children in other schools?

Yes. When a parent requests a school visit, the OT (with the parent/s permission) will contact the teacher to arrange a time to visit the child in the school.

What payment methods does Sproutz accept?

Each session you will be provided with an invoice. Sproutz OT accepts cash, cheque and direct internet bank transfers. See 'Fact Pack' for more details.

Can I claim a Medicare rebate?

Sproutz is a recognized occupational therapy provider. If you meet the requirements then rebates are available from both Medicare and Private Health. See 'Costs & Rebates' for more information.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Sproutz OT realises that you may not be able to attend all appointments. If you need to cancel a session please contact 'Sproutz' (0432 961 953) as soon as possible to reschedule. No payment will be deducted.
