Each session you will be provided with an invoice. Currently Sproutz OT accepts cash, cheque and direct internet bank transfers. Occupational Therapy Services can be subject to Medicare rebates, and private health insurance rebates may also be available.

...Sproutz is a recognized occupational therapy provider. Parent/s may re-claim their fees subject to their variations in private health insurance providers. It is advised that you please contact your insurance company to become aware of conditions and limits.
Enhanced Primary Care![]()
...Medicare will contribute to 5 allied health sessions per year through an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) Plan. Requirements for implementation of an EPC plan include the following: Your child has a complex or chronic medical need, OR The allied health requirement is written into a care plan by your GP. Please discuss this directly with your G.P. If eligible, it is recommended for these plans to be in place before commencing therapy.
Autism Initiatives![]()
...With the launch of the Federal Government's' Helping Children with Autism' package allied health professionals are able to provide assessment and treatment services to children with autism or any other pervasive developmental disorder (PDD), under Medicare.
This financial assistance will enable early and accurate diagnosis and early intervention.
Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Descent![]()
...As of the 1st of November 2008, a Medicare item for people of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent to see allied health practitioners, on referral from their GP. The item number for occupational therapy services is - 81330.
The person must be referred to an eligible allied health professional using a "Referral form for follow-up allied health services under Medicare for people of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent".
Each calendar year, a person can have a maximum of 5 allied health sessions. This is in addition to the allied health services available under the Enhanced Primary Care initiative. The Medicare rebate for these services is $48.95 per service.
